Today’s resolution: Sharing the love

10 Aug

As the Dalai Lemmy says, “It’s easy to have good manners. They’re free. I don’t know why everybody doesn’t have them.” I’ll second that and add that it’s also easier to be nice to people than to be mean. It’s less stressful emotionally, definitely better for the heart and GI tract. Might be easier on the joints, too.

Another reason to be nice? It improves your chances of winning the lottery. Karma, man.

Peace out.

Sharing the love doesn't always involve money, although the owner of this art bus at the Santa Barbara beach might disagree. He asked me to contribute $1 for taking a photo. (2011/RO)

I love children with good manners. I used to tell my step-daughters that good manners never went out of style. They didn’t apply the meaning, but they could tell you the quote.
